Martyrs of Ebsdorf
The Martyrs of Ebsdorf are a group of Catholic martyrs killed in the winter of 880AD at the Battle of Luneberg Heath near Ebsdorf, Saxony.〔( Martyrs of Ebsdorf ) at traditionalcatholic.net.〕 Their Feast day is February 2.
The Martyrs consisted of four bishops, eleven noblemen, and numerous unknown foot soldiers. Known members include Bruno of Saxony,〔Annales Fuldenses.〕 〔The Gesta Francorum.〕 Saints Marquard of Hildesheim and Theodoric of Ninden.〔( Martyrs of Ebsdorf ) at sqpn.com.〕 〔
